Big R Mfg., LLC. supplies bridge on Florida Department of Transportation project under US Hwy 17

Big R recently designed and supplied this 115ft span x 12ft wide pedestrian bridge under US Hwy 17 in Patlaka, Florida. The bridge was installed by Ed Waters and Sons as part of a Florida Department of Transportation enhancement project. The bridge was floated into its final position by barge and will be used as a fishing platform for many years to come. The pre-fabricated engineered bridge was chosen over a concrete beam bridge due to site constraints, cost, and speed of installation.
