Fairbanks Gold Mining, Inc. (A Kinross Company) operates an open-pit gold mine located northeast of Fairbanks, Alaska. A new haul road was needed to more efficiently transport ore to their new gravity heap leach facility.
Battling some of the heaviest live loads and a short summer construction schedule, AIL MINING designed and fabricated a grade separation over an existing access road to keep the project on track.
