Texas Tuscan development takes timely triple arches over concrete

East of Dallas, off  I-30, lies the community of McLendon-Chisholm and Sonoma Verde — a new housing development that “takes the rich offerings of Tuscan style and places it within reach of every resident who wants to stop planning for ‘tomorrow’ and start living their dream today”.

Saves time and money over concrete structures

Fittingly, the developer’s choice of Super•Cor arches over traditional TXDOT concrete alternatives, also placed a major stream crossing ‘within reach’ and resulted in the aesthetic focal point being more ‘today’ than ‘tomorrow’, despite a winter construction window.

Three weeks manufacturing, three weeks installation

Big R Bridge’s Mansfield, TX plant was able to produce the 120 feet of total bridge span in less than three weeks. The weather for December was a challenge, but the Super•Cor system was able to be installed during weather conditions that wouldn't be suitable for typical concrete bridge construction. Footings were ready in a week’s time and the Super•Cor structures were fully built within two weeks, ready for backfilling and headwall construction.
